Past Monday

This past Monday I worked at the building for several hours. I used to do this seven nights a week, but just have ran out of time. It was a great feeling of accomplishment seeing things get done. So many times with Benson and U4 what I do you can’t see as they are not physical things. It even makes it worse when I don’t work on the building for weeks at a time. It makes me feel like I haven’t done anything. And with stress being as high as it is that can be a really big downer. The attached picture is of the rear of the building and not pretty but man it makes me feel good. Tim finished putting in more concrete pillars to protect the AC units at the back of the building. We just put a new $8,000 AC unit back there and I felt way too uncomfortable. My dad suggested putting in those concrete pillars and so we did. I recently had him pick up some more for the other AC unit in the back. True, I do have insurance that would protect us in case the dump truck ran into it but why mess with it. This way I am purchasing a little more insurance that is several feet high and several feet deep. As you can see from the picture it would take a lot of work to get at those AC units. We have room now for approximately 3-4 more AC units. The old ones are currently on the roof and as I replace them we are putting them in the rear of the building on ground level. As you can imagine it gets pretty expensive putting new units on the roof, and what happens when they leak……
